Jun 21, 2008-008 CASI Durham NC CASI. Bull City Chili Challenge Held in Durham Central Park in downtown Durham, NC. From southbound lanes of Hwy 147, Durham Expressway, take Chapel Hill St. exit. Turn left at top of ramp, proceed through light. Proceeds benefit the Durham Special Olympics. CASI chili, open chili, jr. chili, restaurant chili and salsa (restaurant & individual) will be judged. Salsa turn-in at 11:00 AM, chili turn- in at noon. Were expecting a good crowd again, so please bring throw-down! Entertainment, games and additional food vendors on site. Entry fee is $20 for CASI chili, $10 for freestyle and salsa. Juniors and restaurants are free. 10-11-2008. NON-SANCTIONED!!! 13^th Annual Coosa Valley Trout Unlimited chapters chili cook-off to benefit the Coosa valley TU charities! Held at Ridge Ferry Park in Rome, GA. $35.00 entry fee. This is the second largest chili cook-off in the state of Georgia over 110 teams competing for the cash $500 first place prize. Showmanship, peoples choice and cooks choice competitions as well. 03-28-2009 O'Leno Ole' CCO will be held in High Springs, FL. We will have the Group Camp from Fri the 27th to Sunday 29th. Same set up as this year. I will confirm the cabin rates. Infirmary Cabin $75 2 bedroom/2 bath kitchen sleeps 4 Leader I cabin/ADA Accessible $50 2 bedroom 1 bath Kitchen sleeps 10/bunkbeds Leader III cabin $50 2 bedroom/`1 bath sleeps 8 Sleeper Cabins, 13 $25 no facilities, centrally located bathhouses, sleeps 8 We should have looked at them while you were here. Supply your own linens,pillows,food, and other personal items. I'll see if I can get in them and take pics. You also have campgrounds for campers, and motels in town.
